It’s pouring with rain today, but this pair of wild mallard ducks seem unperturbed. They’ve taken up residence on our garden pond. Fearful and wary of us at first, they have grown in confidence and spend as much time near the house as on the pond . We’ve started to leave food for them on the patio in the hope that they will become tame. We’re hoping we might hear the patter of tiny webbed feet………
